Hi, In S1E3 "First Date" the character receives a beige envelope from Ed McMahaon, probably from the Clearing House…So I think the confusion just comes from there being two publishing companies, Pch and Afp, McMahon and Dick Clark worked for Afp. There are references in different shows from the 80's and 90's depicting him delivering checks but none of them say publishers clearing house. Note that Publisher's Clearing House barely did anything to dissuade these rumors.
